About Console Connections
Console versions of Minecraft do not have a native "Add Server" button. To connect to custom servers, you need to change your console's DNS settings to use BedrockConnect — a safe, community tool that provides access to a custom server list. This method is completely safe and reversible.

Xbox console multiplayer access is enforced by Microsoft. You must have an active Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate subscription to join multiplayer servers, including through BedrockConnect.
Open Settings on your Xbox
Navigate to Network, then Advanced Settings
Select DNS Settings, then choose Manual
Set Primary DNS to:

Set Secondary DNS to:

Save settings, then open Minecraft
Go to Servers and select any Featured Server (like Hive). This will open the custom server list.

Survival Realm is EULA compliant and uses Mojang's authentication service to verify online account status. Cracked or illegitimate Minecraft versions cannot join this server.
How to Join Legitimately
- Purchase Minecraft from official stores like minecraft.net, the Microsoft Store, or console stores.
- Use a legitimate gift card or code from authorized retailers to redeem an account.
- If you can't buy the game yet, ask family members or friends who already own Minecraft (and aren't using their account) about transferring access or helping you get a licensed account.
- If you're unsure which edition to buy, start with the platform you play on most.
How to Revert DNS (All Consoles)
To restore your console's default DNS settings and remove the BedrockConnect redirect:
Go to your console's Network or Internet settings
Find DNS Settings and change from Manual back to Automatic
Save settings and restart your console
No Permanent Changes
Reverting DNS removes the custom server list redirect entirely. Your console returns to normal operation with no remaining modifications.
Troubleshooting
Make sure you entered the DNS addresses correctly, then fully close and reopen Minecraft. If using Wi-Fi, try forgetting and reconnecting to your network after changing DNS settings.

Either works fine for connecting to Survival Realm. If you experience lag or slow connections, try switching between them to see which performs better in your region.
